Product overview

The mechanical joint monitoring device for solid core conveyor belts adopts a new generation of static magnetic flaw detection technology, single magnetic loop measurement, and DC amplification technology, which can overcome working point drift and features high measurement sensitivity. It can accurately detect damages such as wear, detachment, and edge opening of belt buckles, and enable precise positioning, completely eliminating potential accident hazards. The device uses simulation technology, and the software interface displays the damage status of all belt buckles in a full circle and the damage distribution of a single belt buckle in the width direction of the belt, facilitating maintenance personnel to quickly make decisions on re-fastening.





Functions


01 Realize online monitoring of abnormal conditions such as broken buckles, wear, missing buckles, overall shape changes, and openings on both sides of the belt caused by edge unfastening.

02 Implement graded alarms for belt buckle damage, allowing setting of alarm values, extreme alarms, and stopping of the conveyor belt operation.

03 Achieve numbering of each belt segment and all belt buckle joints on the entire belt through positioning cards set on the belt. If a certain belt buckle needs repair, the system can accurately stop the belt buckle at the maintenance station. When recycling a belt segment, after automatically locating the segment via the positioning card, the system stops the segment at the specified position for convenient and rapid recycling.

04 Adopt simulation display mode to realistically show the actual status of belt buckles for clear visualization. The software interface displays the damage status of all belt buckles in a full circle, helping maintenance personnel make repair decisions—such as identifying severe wear on multiple adjacent buckles or partial unfastening. The full-circle display function enables quick assessment of all joint conditions along the entire belt.

05 Simulate and display the damage distribution of a single belt buckle in the width direction, assisting maintenance personnel in deciding on re-fastening—for example, whether damage is concentrated in the middle of the belt width or distributed on both sides (centralized damage in the middle poses a higher risk of belt breakage).

06 Anti-deviation design: The sensor box is slightly wider than the belt to prevent missed detection due to belt deviation.




System Composition


The device is composed of a mine-used intrinsically safe mechanical joint monitoring sensor for solid core conveyor belts, a mine-used flameproof and intrinsically safe DC regulated power supply, a mine-used flameproof and intrinsically safe computer, etc.




▼ Sensor
Composed of multiple flaw detection units, signal processing units, signal acquisition units, communication units, etc. Each flaw detection unit covers one or two belt buckle bodies. The multiple flaw detection units convert defects in the belt buckles into analog signals via the signal processing unit and output them to the signal acquisition unit. The signal acquisition unit performs analog-to-digital conversion and signal processing, and transmits the useful digital signals to the explosion-proof computer via optical cables or network cables.

Equipped with a built-in intrinsically safe power supply (12V/2A) to power the flaw detection units, signal processing units, signal acquisition units, communication units, etc. inside the sensor.
